INTERVIEW PROCESS FOR FRESHERS IN WIPRO

To get selected in the interview you are tested with the following stages:

  The three steps in the selection process are
  •  Aptitude test
  •  Technical Interview
  •  HR Interview
Aptitude Test:

Its a written test of 60 mins duration. There are three sections-
  1.  Verbal- 20 questions
  2. Aptitude- 20 questions
  3. Technical -10 questions . 
  •  The verbal part contains questions from Active voice and Passive voice,Direct and Indirect Speech,synonym, antonym, making a meaningful word out of given alphabets etc.
  •  The aptitude part consists of questions from time and distance, area, average,equation,principal interest etc.
  •  The technical part consists of basic C programs, Data structure questions like postfix notation, stack etc.
Solve previous wipro question papers and refer R.S.Agarwal's aptitude book.That  is more than enough..

If you clear this round you might be asked to write the essay for the given topic.

Essay writing:(Duration :10 Min)
This is not the Elimination Round.

Note: Essay writing  is just to check your  fluency in English. Based on your essay, sometimes HR will ask Questions. Avoid grammatical mistake.

FREQUENTLY ASKED TOPICS:
 Is censorship for movie is desirable?
 'Migration to urban areas-Causes, consequences'

Technical Interview


  • The procedure to be followed is,
  • First greet the interviewer.
  • If he/she asks for your CV,then hand it over.
  • He/she might ask you to introduce yourself.Then introduce yourself by including your academic qualification and place,the languages which you know,your strength,hobbies.
  • Questions will be mostly asked from your introduction itself.
  • You will be asked to write any of the programs like,  
                           1.Program to print prime numbers
                           2.Palindrome for string and number
                           3.String Reverse
                           4.Sum,Average of all the number
                           5.Prime  no.
                           6.Armstrong no.
                           7.Fibonacci series
                           8.Factorial of a number

  • A C++ program will be given for debugging.
  • Questions will be asked from your Area of Interest.
  • Some questions will be asked  from the written essay.

You will be given a form to fill up.(it means selected in second round)

This round is to check your Hard Skill  such as
Proficiency in Programming Languages(if you are from IT Background).
Technical Knowledge.

HR Interview
Question will be asked about leadership skills,Importance and qualities.

Some Questions asked by HR:

What do you know about Wipro? 
Where do you want to be after 5 years?
If you became a Team Leader, how many people you can manage?
Whats are all the characteristics a leader should have?
Who is your role model? Why?
Whats your Father and Mother?
What are your Hobbies?

Note:
If you are answering any question,questions are asked  from your answers.Be Careful while answering.

This round is to check your Soft Skill  such as
  • Teamwork
  • Leadership
  • Communication
  • Good manners
  • Negotiation

Candidates are shortlisted for the job by the above procedure.If you are one among the short listed candidates,then you are selected.
